Donisha Rita-Claire Prendergast, actress, model, dancer and poet.  Through the years, she developed a love for acting and the theatre and  landed several lead parts for "Jambiz" (Production Company in Jamaica).

 

Donisha is determined not to be overshadowed by the fact that she was born into families with famous bloodlines,  Her mother is Sharon Marley, one fourth of the group Melody Makers. Her aunts and uncles are Cedella Marley, Steven Marley, and Ziggy Marley who led the Melody Makers to three Grammies. There are also Kymani Marley, Julian Marley, and Damian Marley, 2003 Grammy winner. All are very strong and independent in their own right. 

 

Her father,  Peter Prendergast, Jamaica's best known and most highly respected soccer (FIFA) referee.  The Prendergast family name has a deep and rich history in Jamaica's politics, sports, fashion and cinema.

 

Donisha donates her time to helping others.  As political activist, Donisha uses her voice to speak her truth; and proactively build communities and schools in Africa and the Caribbean.
